Working closely with our sales & marketing team, the Inside Sales Associate conducts targeted sales & marketing initiatives centered on expanding our contact database into new geographical or vertical markets. This will involve identifying potential customers and contacting such accounts/contacts through direct email and cold calling.
Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer related field or equivalent education & experience.
3+ years experience in a business development role.
Experienced with use of Salesforce.com CRM or other CRM systems for management of campaigns & lead tracking.
Proven ability to learn quickly, be resourceful & work independently in a fast paced & changing environment. Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage deadlines.

The Sales & Project Engineer acts as a bridge between Sales and R & D in communicating and specifying customer requirements. This involves assisting the sales force in progressing, closing, and delivering customer solutions.
The Sales & Project Engineer will analyze customer needs through interaction with various customer stakeholders and propose, document & present solutions. Typical tasks include gathering customer requirements, delivering web demos/live presentations, providing trial support, and completing RFI/RFP responses. You will participate in the delivery & successful implementation of the solution, assist the customer support team in understanding & delivering the necessary services, and work together with product management in the possible productization of specific customer solutions. You will also assist
R & D with the specification of customer requirements and Marketing in developing customer success stories.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Sciences, with formal grounding in software or the equivalent combination n of business/technical education & experience.
Experience in a similar role and /or in hydrology/water science.
3 – 5 years of project management experience in a software/technology company.
A demonstrated track record of individual successes & effective team contributions.
Outstanding presentation skills; clear customer focus; excellent organizational skills; effective team player.
Knowledge & understanding of technologies such as: COM, .NET, ODBC, SQL, and MATLAB.
Ability & willingness to travel (at times extensively)
Master’s degree or equivalent field experience (in Hydrology).
Additional education in Business (Sales) &/or Project Engineering as asset.
